call me stupid, but the number of victims listed in the article is 19 and 27; ?????? (either way a disaster)

Hello, I added a correction to the naming of the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrow Crossing, added history of the accident, created a link to a survivor's account and added dates. Cheers. Skippingrock 14:09, Nov 11, 2004 (UTC)

Thanks Denelson83 for the copy edit. I don't know where all those errors came from. Must have been late. Thanks again. Skippingrock

List of victims[edit]

2009/05/25 Did I miss something here that my addition to the details was removed? I have created a login account to add to the "authenticity." I will be more than happy to submit my photo of the plaque giving reference to the names I quoted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Malice604 (talkcontribs) 18:18, 25 May 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Actually, I only meant to remove the list of names (as we generally don't list those), not the correct figure. I've done that, kept the "23", and added a reference for the death toll. Cheers. --Ckatzchatspy 19:21, 25 May 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ah okay great, thanks! I will keep that in mind. -- Malice604 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Malice604 (talkcontribs) 19:34, 25 May 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks for catching the incorrect figure, by the way (that's a great help), and welcome to Wikipedia. Feel free to drop me a note if you have any questions. Cheers. --Ckatzchatspy 19:39, 25 May 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Why don't we do this? I mean it is information and it is public knowledge, if a person was doing a report and wanted these names then I would expect that an Encyclopædia on the subject would try to have as much information on the topic. Do we expect that a person must go down to the bridge itself to find the names? That is not good. What if the plaque was stolen or lost in an accident where would one go or know to go to find out these names? It would be lost to history.--24.68.107.170 (talk) 05:27, 3 January 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Toll Bridge.[edit]

I was just told by my father that this bridge at one point was also a toll-bridge. He was not sure of the cost or when it was removed, but remembers the toll booths being on the PNE side of the crossing. Can anyone research this topic and include mention about it?--24.68.107.170 (talk) 05:29, 3 January 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
